InvestigateWest seeks Oregon collaboration partners
It’s part of our effort to strengthen local investigative journalism and bolster small newsrooms
InvestigateWest went shopping at a Value Village in Seattle to see what we would find. Despite claims that our purchase would benefit local charities, when we did the math to compare what we paid to what one of Savers' typical contracts with a charity partner in Washington would receive, only pennies on the dollar of our do-good purchase actually, well, did good.
